or maybe my eyes just too sensitive..
randomly done in Krita with 16bpp, actually just for testing how to paint in that color depth.
indeed that it is better, i got smoother shading~ but when I save it to other formats, things get so messy :I
in both PNG and EXR, I got major banding when viewed in both image viewer and photoshop, as it like 256 color or something
converting to 8bpp in krita turns my pic got waay darker..
pretty much confused, as I never encounter this while working with 8bpp
then I found that when I zoomed the 16bpp one to 100% at photoshop, these banding bugs gone, and converting it back to 8bpp there is better, just dithered (argh!)
...and then I found that saving directly to JPEG in krita do the best job! *plz slap me* (?)

[update] Pardon meee, it needs to be flattened before converting it to 8bpp in krita.. case solved for me then, as I don't need PS with this workflow
haven't tried with 16bit float yet, maybe I'll try it next time~
any suggestion? maybe I was wrong with the color space in krita? I was totally went default, didn't change any of it, just color depth
